At 11:18 on June 14, 2018, the 3GPP plenary session approved the freeze of 5G NR independent networking function, marking the birth of the first standard R15 of 5G. The DOU of 4G users in China market: China Unicom has reached 9GB; China Mobile has reached nearly 5GB and forecast that there will be a 3 fold increase in the next 1 years; the China Telecom will reach nearly 7GB. Kuwait DOU reached 70GB, Saudi Arabia DOU 35GB; Finland increased by 43% in one year, reaching 20GB.
